Designed as an immersive experience and structured on the activity a container makes from origin to empty return, An Intelligent Container Journey is an IANA-led initiative built by active freight professionals with the mission of breaking down the barriers of entry to AI for the intermodal community.

An Intelligent Container Journey is the culmination of an 18-month interactive education series on The Four Pillars of AI for Intermodal that dove into understanding the basics and application to the industry of LLMs (GenAI), Agentic AI, Applied AI, and AI for Analytics.

Born from an AI panel at the IANA 2024 Expo, IANA’s interactive AI education content leading up to An Intelligent Container Journey spans panels, presentations, learning sessions, and a webinar series, developed under the guidance of IANA’s education team and contributed to by subject matter experts from across the industry.
